Studio Lighting

In this photo I see two people, one person close to the camera, facing forward and the other person farther back, looking to the left.
The photo is pretty much in focus and this was done intentionally. You see brightness on Chelsea's face and the excess light shinning on Justin. I did this because I wanted to have the bright shinning light on the person who is happy and have a bit of darkness on the person who is not happy but perhaps angered.
Through my photo I was trying to communicate the differences between two people. You have one person who is all happy and then there is a huge contrast between the person just behind her who looks a bit angered or distressed.
I think I did a good job on this photo. I believe that stdio lighting is both easier and harder than other photos. I think its easy because its pretty straightforward on what you have to do with the light and the camera, and also you get to control the light. I think it is more difficult than other projects because its harder to be creative when you have a limited space.

Motion Project

In this photo I see two girls tap dancing. I also see their shadows, trees, and people in the background. The two girls are close and everything else is far away. This photo is figurative.

This image is in focus, but not as much as it could be. Everything else is kind of blurred and this was done intentionally because I really just wanted to focus on the  dancers.

Through this photo I am trying to communicate the beauty in movement of dancers. Part of the image is dark and some is light, I think it is this way because of shadows. This was taken outdoors.

I think I did a decenty job on this photo. I just need to work on focusing better and working with better lighting.

Depth Of Field

In my photo I see a tree in the background. I also see some shadowing on Chelsea. The work is figurative because  the light represents positivity.

In my photo I see triangles and circles behind Chelsea. Part of my image is focused, which would be Chelsea, the rest is not. This was done intentionally since my goal was to shoot a depth of field photo.

Through my photo I am trying to communicate a really positive vibe. This photo was taken in the light and outdoors to show freeness, youthfulness, and enlightenment.

I think my work is pretty decent, I believe that it was done better than my last photo and my work is improving.

I see a kind of far away photo of Lauren who is hanging onto a pole. I see in the background trees, bushes, and a fence. This work is figurative. The image is quite bright, which was an accident. Also the picture isn't as focused as it could be, which was an accident. The image is light and was taken outside. I was trying to show youth and happiness. I believe that my work was somewhat successful, there were a few things i could have done to make it better but now know for next time. This was overall a good first experience. Sure I made a few mistakes but in the end I got a decent picture. The whole process of making a picture was fun but it took an awful long time just to create one photo but it is definitely worth it.
